45 Years In The Making

Well Sid, here it is almost midnight and I had to write you. You and your family have influenced me to step out of my comfort zone and it is so exhilarating! Last Sunday on outreach for the community, mama and I invited all of the neighbors for an afternoon ice cream/cake get together. We have lived here since 1965 and knew about neighbors but only knew a couple by name. What a shame! We discovered such great folks! We are going to do it again in December. We all decided that it would be good to know each other at an occasion other than a funeral.

    Carron and Lela,

    That is such an inspiring story! I love the fact that God is still working in you and growing you to be more like Him. He wants to do that with all of us and I am glad that you made yourself available to be used by Him and for Him! Thank you for loving your neighbors and for getting out of your comfort zone. You all are an inspiration and example to me. I am confident God is pleased with your efforts to love others!
